3 Tips for Getting Ready Quickly in The Mornings

Mornings can be nothing short of chaotic if you struggle to get out the door on time. Whether you’re trying to get to work, or simply go out with friends, there’s some people that just can’t seem to get places on time.

This can be frustrating to say the least, and you likely would like to see a positive change in your morning routine. To help you, here are some of the best tips for a streamlined morning that doesn’t leave you stressed out and wishing you had more time to get ready.

Plan Your Clothes The Night Before

One of the most common reasons why people struggle to get ready in the mornings is because they can’t seem to choose what they want to wear. When you’re struggling to get ready in time, and there’s so many choices of clothes to go through in your drawers, it can result in a lot of lost time.

Do yourself a favor and choose your outfit the night before! That way you can leisurely look through all of your options and choose the option that works best without throwing something together at the last minute. Not only will this help you save time, but you’ll probably be much happier with your outfit choice since you didn’t do it in a rush.

Keep Your Belongings Organized

It’s easy to find yourself stressed out if you are constantly scrambling to get ready with all of your belongings spread out throughout your home. Keep all of your belongings organized and in one place so that you can avoid unnecessary stress and panic as you look for these items.

Everything from your makeup, to your house keys should be kept in one single place where you know you can always find them. Dedicate a home for each important item that goes into your morning routine, and you’ll shave off a considerable amount of time from your routine.

Simplify

Even though you might want to believe you can work out, take your dog for a walk, and have coffee with your spouse before getting in the shower, the truth is that adding too many steps in your morning routine can quickly lead to a disaster.

Keep your routine simple, and you’ll find that it’s much easier to carry out. Limit your routine to as few steps as possible, and it will be that much easier to complete from start to finish. Try to combine steps into one if you can. In other words, try combining your morning coffee with doing your makeup, or listening to your favorite podcast while eating your breakfast. The more you can combine things into doing two things at once, the more time you’ll have on your hands to work with.
